4. SMS and Text Messaging Privacy
4.1 Collection and Use of Mobile Phone Numbers
We collect your mobile phone number when you provide it to us and opt in to receive transactional text messages. Your phone number is used solely for the purpose of sending you the transactional messages you have consented to receive, such as account alerts, verification codes, and service notifications.
4.2 No Sale or Sharing of SMS Data
We will not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or personal information collected through our SMS messaging program to any third party. This applies to all data collected in connection with our text messaging services, without exception.
4.3 SMS Data Sharing Limitations
Information collected through our SMS program, including your phone number and opt-in consent records, may only be shared with the following categories of service providers who assist us in delivering the SMS program:
- SMS platform and delivery service providers (solely for message transmission)
- Telecommunications carriers (as required for message delivery)
These service providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to Ryvite.
4.4 SMS Consent Records
We maintain records of your SMS opt-in consent, including the date and time of consent, the method by which consent was provided, and the specific messaging program(s) you consented to. These records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years after the last message is sent to you, as required by industry guidelines.
4.5 Opting Out of SMS

5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, analytics, email delivery, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to Ryvite and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
5.2 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change by posting a notice on the Site or by sending you an email.

SMS consent records and messaging logs are retained for a minimum of four (4) years following the last message sent, consistent with CTIA and carrier requirements.

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
8.1 Types of Cookies We Use

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP. Note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you non-promotional messages related to your account and your use of the Services.
10. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:
- Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected the information, the business purposes for collecting the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share the information.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

12. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States.
